Yes I know, I haven’t written a blog post in ages! But guys here’s the deal, I started a cafe and then got pregnant so a lot was going down but also a lot was not going down if you know what I mean…When I hit 16 weeks I got my energy back as well as my desire to cook and get creative with food. And it’s been filled with lots of delicious treats that are perfect for the festive season! So I thought I’d put together some of my favourite Christmas treat recipes. Some are mine and some are from some other great food bloggers. And do you want to know what I look for when looking for treat recipes? Sugar-free, gluten-free and preferably dairy-free. Because I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to throw in the towel over Christmas and feel bloated, lethargic and brain foggy (let alone have a toddler experiencing all the sugar highs and crashes!).
Without further ado, here are my go-to treats for Christmas time…
First off, we’ve got to have a fail-safe fruit mince recipe to fill those mince pies, Christmas cake or muffins am I right?
What about some delicious crunchies that not only make your mouth water but also provide great nutrition?
Ok, but seriously. This recipe right here is DECADENT! Definitely one of my favourite treats that can also be made into a tart and perfect for Christmas day lunch!
Feeling like something chocolatey but without all the sugar and other stuff that makes you feel sick afterwards? I’ve got your back 😉
And everyone needs a great biscotti recipe for Christmas. So here is one of my faves (I just swap out the sugar for erythritol or xylitol).
If you’re still scrolling for something to your liking, then what about these classic profiteroles? These are gluten-free and you can make them sugar-free by swapping out the sugar for your favourite sugar alternative.

There you have it folks! My favourite festive season treats. Have fun baking and creating 😉
Merry Christmas friends xx
